MHC class I monomers pre-loaded with known peptide epitopes. The monomers can easily be assembled into tetramers and used to identify, isolate, or monitor cognate CD8+ T cells. All pMHC complexes are available either as biotinylated pMHC monomers or as tetramers. The tetramers binds to CD8+ T cells with high avidity and specificity allowing the detection of antigen specific T cell in frequencies as low as 0.05%.
